Socially, I use social media to create a timeline of what I've been up to over the years. Looking through my Instagram is nostalgic and can provide me with photo materials when I need to create a bio project or something of the like!
Professionally, social media gets me inspired and can instigate some critical thinking about what I do and why. Social media also connects me to others in a similar field or mindset as myself and can bring about amazing friendships that likely wouldn't have blossomed otherwise!
Personally I have my own twitter, facebook, instagram, and snacphat accounts. Professionally I am going to make a twitter account for my classes, create a youtube channel, and strengthen my blog. Plus I will do whatever I learn from this class we are currently taking.
Personally, I utilize social media to stay connected with friends and family despite a very busy professional life.
Professionally, I utilize social media for lesson and activity ideas and to introduce and/or reinforce concepts that I teach. I hope through the help of this course that I will also be able to begin a professional Twitter and Instagram to engage more with my students, and maybe a blog to reflect on my teaching practices and professional endeavors.
Personally- I use it to stay connected to people I don't get to see very often.

I will inventory my future students to see which forms of social media they use most often/prefer and create a way to communicate with them on that form to remind them of things we talked about in class as well as assignments. I will also use it to connect with other PE teachers and see what they are doing with their classes.
